Composite -Expo - the first composite exhibition in Russia

      Among the exhibitors the largest companies of this market were represented: equipment and materials supplying companies, producing companies and of course our magazine “Composite World”. The modest quantity of exhibitors was compensated by large number of the visitors.
      One of the outstanding events of the exhibition was the practical and research seminar “Modern condition and development perspective of production and usage of composites”. It is impossible not to mention a very detailed report of Airtech made by Frank Pfennig and Victoria Ruppel. They not only told about such an interesting production process as infusion but also demonstrated this process on their stand. Although they did not show the infusion with using of resin because of fire safety reasons all the process was explained very detailed. Maybe this fact will increase the quantity of the companies in our country who apply this technology in their production.
      The most of the exhibitors were supplying companies who sell materials and equipment for composite production: Group of companies “Composite”, “Intrey”, “UTS”, “Polymerprom”. Among domestic companies-producers of raw materials we can mention JSC “Elecroisolit”,  “Steklonit”, “Svan”. Among foreign companies were represented “Airtech”, “Polya Poliester”, “Porcher industries”, “Polotsk-Steklovolokno”. You could also see companies producing composite goods: JSC “Reinforced filters and pipelines systems”, “Stupinsky FRP factory”, “Torus-style”, “Hius”.
       According to our poll we can definitely say that the exhibition was successful, almost all participants are ready to take part in this event next year.
