Composite materials in civil and military aircraft industry

On August 19, 2011 in the context of the Xth International airspace saloon MAKS – 2011 The Union of Composites Manufacturers with the assistance of the Union of Air Manufacturers conduct The 2-nd workshop science and practical conference “Composite materials in civil and military aircraft industry”

One of the main problems of application of composite materials in Russia is the absence of competent and active dialogue between manufacturers and consumers of modern materials. There will be presented the latest achievements of the leading enterprises of composite industry for aircraft industry in the context of the conference. 

The reports of the leading domestic and foreign companies working for the needs of the aircraft industry will be heard on the conference. 

The main topics of the Conference:

• New technologies of design and production of goods from composites in the aircraft industry.
• Modern materials and equipment for production of the goods from composites.
• The properties of the composite materials (physical and mechanical characteristics, radar transparency, ultra light weight, service life); the main advantages against the materials used traditionally.
• Composite materials in the constructions, parts and assemblies of the aircrafts. Experience of application and implementation.
  

The conference organized in the context of «MAKS-2009» was visited by more than 200 specialists of the enterprises producing the aero techniques, air components, composite materials, prepregs, resins, software, specialists of science and research institutes and centers, journalists of specialized editions, experts.
