Market of FRP pipes in Russia

According to Institute of Industrial Market Research by year 2010 use of FRP pipes in Russia will grow up to 30% per year. It will be possible because of more often usage of FRP pipes in water supplying, in transporting of chemical products and aggressive agents. Up to year 1012 use of FRP pipes based on epoxy resins will be higher than FRP pipes based on polyester resins. But by year 2015 growth rate of polyester FRP pipes usage will be noticeably higher coming closer to epoxy FRP pipes and maybe even pass ahead. At the same time use of FRRP pipes in Russia is now only in the making. Deficiency in supply on the market, tradition of steel pipes use in many industries, government standard for FRP pipe production: these are factors which hamper the development of FRP pipe consumption in Russia today.
