A new workshop for geotextiles production was opened in OJSC “Tverstekloplastik”. Geotextile is a special material produced from glass fiber or polyester. Opening of the workshop, in which about 260 millions of the Rubles has been invested, allows the enterprise to make a step to the new market. Geogrids and geomats that will be produced on the innovative German equipment allowing increasing the production volumes in two times find its application in totally different industry sectors. First of all the Russian railways, Transoil, road enterprises can be decided as the products consumers. Such grids are used for reinforcement of the asphalt-concrete surfaces of the roads, airfields during the construction and repair, for isolating the pipelines from damages, for reinforcement of the flanks, slopes, banks and riversides.
The new production becomes actual most of all against concept of the road facilities reconstruction when the importance is given to the quality of the construction and repair of the roads. Geogrids allows increasing the quality of roadway for 1.5-2 times, extending its life for 3 times, shortening the economical expenses for 5 times (broken stone and gravel for example). Already this year such materials are planned to be used for the repair of Volokolamskij prospect, on the areas of Tver-Bezhetck, Kalyazin, Kimra, Dubna. The geodrids are also effective on the moorland.
It is not unimportant that from the ecological point of view a new workshop is safe and is not harmful to the environment. The German specialists can also watch for this aspect, under the patronage of whom the work will be organized.
